What it is

The CRO-FZG is the stainless steel sibling of our CRO-CFC jaw coupling. Every load-bearing part — the hubs and the clamping sleeve — is machined from 304 stainless steel, so the coupling shrugs off moisture, cleaning agents and corrosive atmospheres that would attack an aluminum coupling.

It delivers the same zero-backlash, vibration-damping performance you expect from a jaw coupling, but in a form built for food processing, pharmaceutical, marine and other demanding environments. If your equipment gets washed down, the CRO-FZG is the coupling to reach for.

Choose the CRO-FZG when your equipment operates in a wet, humid, or corrosive environment where an aluminum coupling would degrade. If corrosion is not a concern, the lighter CRO-CFC aluminum jaw coupling is usually the more economical choice. For the highest rigidity in clean environments, consider a metal diaphragm coupling.
