Precision Couplings
CNC machines demand extreme positioning accuracy — couplings must be zero-backlash and highly rigid.
Feed axes (ballscrew-driven) have lower torque but need zero backlash and high rigidity → CRO-CS/CRO-CD diaphragm couplings. Spindles (heavy load) have high torque → 45# steel diaphragm couplings, single or double, OD to 190 mm.
CNC machining accuracy depends on the backlash and stiffness of the drive train. Zero-backlash diaphragm couplings avoid positioning error on reversal — the standard for feed axes.
Feed axis: CRO-CS single diaphragm (aligned) or CRO-CD long diaphragm (with misalignment); spindle: 45# steel diaphragm series (torque to 1040 N·m).
