Precision Couplings
One-piece metal bellows — a zero-backlash, high-precision servo coupling type.
A bellows coupling joins two hubs with a thin-walled metal bellows machined in one piece; the bellows flexes to compensate misalignment. Zero backlash, high torsional stiffness, low inertia.
Both are zero-backlash and rigid. Bellows are more compact and compliant (small spaces, high precision); diaphragm carries more torque. Bellows suit encoders and small servos, diaphragm suits large servos and spindles.
Bellows couplings serve: servo motors, encoders, stepper motors, CNC feed axes, measurement and precision positioning equipment.
